Order Processing Times

Our sales department processes orders daily, Monday through Friday. If the items you order are in stock - which they usually are - they will usually ship within 2 business days from the day you place the order.

If we are out of stock on any item we will notify you at the time your order is processed. We will tell you our expected delivery date and if you notify us any time prior to shipment we can cancel any non-custom item that is back-ordered.

If you require guaranteed expedited service on any order please call our customer service and we will be happy to do everything we can to insure your orders arrive when needed.

Shipping/Freight Information

We ship UPS Ground, UPS 3 Day Select, UPS 2nd Day Air, and UPS Next Day Air for ground and/or air - as per your specified choice. In some cases when the package exceeds the UPS shipping size, we will ship via Fedex.

On very large orders when the size or weight of your order exceeds package delivery limits - UPS limits packages to 70 pounds, and a girth/length of 130" - we will ship common carrier.

Common carrier orders will ship freight collect, unless you make other arrangements. This includes prepaid, credit card and open account orders. "Freight collect" means you must pay freight to the trucking company at the time of delivery.

Auto Freight Calculator

When items are entered into the cart and pending purchase, enter the ship to destination and select the method of shipment. Your estimated freight charges - based on the total weight of the items ordered - is calculated and added to the total order.

Note: On orders other than UPS GROUND, actual freight costs may on some occasions be significantly higher than shown on the order confirmation - due to UPS’s "dimentional weight" factor - UPS charges a minimum of 35 lbs if package dimensions exceed a certain size.

In those rare cases when actual shipping costs are significantly higher, we will contact you with the actual shipping charges for your choice of shipping and confirm your choice.

If an error occurs when calculating a freight cost, - usually because UPS site is down - the order form will not show a freight cost. In those cases, we will contact you with the actual freight cost based on your choice of transport before we ship.

The estimated rates are calculated and downloaded directly from the UPS web site.

Security

All online transactions processed through our On-line Store are handled with industry-standard SSL encryption. Some people believe it is not safe to send your credit card information over the Internet. Though these concerns may be valid when dealing with other on-line stores, ordering through Brochure Holders Online is certain to provide you with a safe and secure credit card transaction.

Why is it secure? Your order is secure because we have contracted with Yahoo!, Inc. for our on-line commerce. They use their own Secure Sales Server technology (S3) on every transaction that is processed. This technology begins by utilizing Netscape's Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption technology. SSL encrypts the transmissions from both Yahoo's server as well as your computer. Put simply, the transmission from our server forms a matched pair with the transmission from your computer, so that only data to and from these sources can be valid. If you are using Netscape 1.0 or later or Microsoft Internet Explorer 1.0 or later as your web browser, your transactions are fully encrypted and secure when you buy through Yahoo!. You'll know that it is secure when you see a full yellow key in a blue box in the lower left-hand corner of your Netscape browser. If you use Explorer, you'll see a full "lock" in the status bar. If you use another type of browser, you'll still be able to place an "un-secure" order if you wish.

What pages are secure? Yahoo! secures the order form page to ensure a secure credit card transaction. Other pages are not secured in order to increase the transmission speed. Go ahead and place an order! Now you know it will be secure!

Claims

Please check your order when it is received. If merchandise is damaged call our customer service for assistance on UPS or other carrier claims. Hold damaged merchandise and packaging for inspection and / or pickup by carrier. Claims for damaged goods should be made immediately . Please note the damage on the freight bill or express receipt. The carrier agents are responsible for all damage claims. Any claims for shortage must be made within five days after receipt of the goods. Please reference your invoice number.

Satisfaction Guarantee

We guarantee everything we sell. You must be completely satisfied. It's that simple. Just return the merchandise within 30 days. Please call for an RMA # and shipping instructions. See Returns on this page for details.

Returns

Unauthorized returns will not be accepted or credited. You MUST call a customer service representative for a Return Merchandise Authorization - RMA # - before returning or exchanging any merchandise. All return merchandise must be returned in its original packaging and be in resalable condition when received. All returns are subject to a 15% restocking charge. Credit can only be given on the cost of merchandise and applicable sales tax. Returns on merchandise that is not defective, nor the result of an incorrect shipment must be shipped prepaid within 30 days of the invoice date. No collect shipments will be accepted. No returns are accepted after 30 days of the invoice date. Custom orders cannot be returned at anytime.

Volume Discount Pricing

All our items offer volume discounts and are presented in easy to follow tables.

Additionally, your volume discount price will be automatically calculated and shown before your final order.

Payment Methods

Charge Card: We accept payment with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or The Discover Card. You can submit this information via our secure server, by telephone, fax, or mail.

Check Payments: When placing the order - in the billing section - select Purchase Order as method of payment so that you can complete the transaction, then in the Comment Box write in "Check To Follow". After submitting your order, you will receive an eMail confirmation of your order including shipping charges. If you are paying by check... make checks payable to our parent company VisCom Group for the full amount. Mail both the check and a copy of the eMail confirmation of your order to: Magazine Racks Online - c/o VisCom Group - 294 East 25th Street - Paterson, NJ 07514.

Open Account: If you are planning to make regular purchases and want to establish a net 30 day account please submit your bank information and three trade reference via mail or e-mail. Allow about 2 weeks to process. Terms are net 30 days from date of shipment.

Sales Tax

It is the policy of Magazine Racks Online to charge applicable sales tax to all items delivered to New Jersey addresses. When a purchase is made, current NJ sales tax of 6% will be added to any order shipped to addresses with a NJ zip code. If your company, organization or institution is NJ sales Tax Exempt submit the appropriate State exemption form to us by mail (signature required) and upon receipt we will issue a credit refund for any sales tax charged. Brochure Holders Online is not responsible for any tariffs or taxes that apply to items shipped to other states or outside the United States.
